Hello Future...

Well, this is my first blog.  I'm not really sure where all of this will lead but for some reason I feel compelled to start a blog.  I've oftentimes said I'm a walking talking human dichotomy and I'm sure this blog will be one as well.  A little about what's prompted this...

All through my 20's I found success at every turn in my life.  Everything I touched literally turned to gold.  I was the proverbial cat that always landed on its feet.  Even though I found great success, I wasn't particularly satisfied with my life because I felt like I had stumbled in to a life course that I really hadn't chosen...it somehow had chose me.

My 30's were spent figuring out what course I wanted in life.  I turned my back on most of the things that made me a traditional success in most people's minds and set off on finding my own destiny and own happiness.  A handful of times a long the way I almost turned back, but I didn't.  I've paid what many might consider a mighty cost and even "failed" in a few traditional senses, but I think I've truly found where I'm supposed to be in life.

Who am I today?  I'm "Cat Stone".  I run an artist management company funded by a group of investors.  Our firm manages the careers of artists in the entertainment industry.  I'm a work-a-holic, I'm passionate about my beliefs, and I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world to wake up each day and love what I do, who I do it with, and why I do it.

If I can give one piece of advice to anyone that may read this; it's this - Do what you love to do in life.  Your love and passion for your occupation will lead you to success.  I truly believe that.
